Hi - I've been discussing some peruser-related tuning items off-list
with Marcelo, and I was hoping to write up at least one suggestion on
the wiki. Specifically, on FreeBSD, it is desirable to set some
sysctls. Here's the snippit from my /etc/sysctl.conf:

# For apache mpm-peruser. These both default to 8192, but since peruser
# uses local streams to pass sockets which can be potentially large, set
# this to something greater than peruser's max header length (currently
20,000).
net.local.stream.recvspace=65536
