Looks like a dried up dermestid larva, not a shed skin. Not black carpet
beetle, Attagenus, or Thylodrias, Trogoderma, but maybe Anthrenus species.

Subject: [pestlist] larva identification

Hello everyone,

This showed up in a sticky trap this morning. It's about 3 mm long, and though
it looks like it's cut in half, it seems to be whole (I think). Anyone know
what it is?

Thanks,
