The scent in insect pesticides are often aimed at human end users- either to warn us of the presence in the case of order less but dangerous chemicals, or to make it pleasant for us.
To eliminate moths from textiles the preferred method is to isolate them to prevent cross contamination and freeze according to the methods described on Musempests.net<http://Musempests.net>.
