First 2 pictures is a species of latridiid beetle, but not Adistemia watsoni.
The 3rd beetle looks like an elaterid click beetle, genus Aeolus.

Subject: [pestlist] SV: Two beetles

EXTERNAL SENDER

Hi!

I think that the beetle in the first two pictures I Adistemia watsoni (adult
plaster beetle), but there are several very similar. This poster on
museumpests.net
(https://nam04.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fmuseumpests.net%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2015%2F05%2FMinute-Brown-Scavenger-Beetle-Info-Sheet.pdf&data=02%7C01%7Csorkin%40amnh.org%7Cb597947338444d661e2008d71ef158c0%7Cbe0003e8c6b9496883aeb34586974b76%7C0%7C1%7C637011894249977030&sdata=MV21HQEd7SQ%2BpzDzuyVONo4Hc2gmaEX5yv4vqQCmES4%3D&reserved=0)
has it and some of the similar beetles on which you might be able to use to
compare more accurately.

Sorry I don't know the second one.

Kind regards,

Philippa.

Hi All,

Any thoughts on the two different beetles in these photos? We’ve seen a few of
the small (2 mm) brown ones recently. They’re hard two photograph so I’m
including two examples. The other beetle is closer to 1 cm.

Thanks for your guidance,

Brenna
