Greetings, Pestlist Does anyone have a recommendation for a datalogger that can operate under -40F? We have been using the Onset HOBO MX2300 series, which were working well until our freezer dipped just below -40F (the temperature listed as its lowest operating temp) at which point they now error whenever under -30F.
We are not intending our freezer to drop below -40F (it should be cycling with the lowest of -35F) but it seems to be the result of an unknown error that happens occasionally (maintenance has looked). Having a datalogger for ambient temperature that we know can withstand below -40F would give a little piece of mind. I have spoken to the Onset Rep about their InTemp series (which can go that low) but they are one-offs that can not have the battery replaced, with the longest lasting 1 year. Not ideal. Any recommendations appreciated. Thank you! Julie -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Museumpests" group.
