Georgia,

We use the Victor Smart-Kill electronic traps without the Wi-Fi capability in
some of the buildings in our historic village and in the loading dock area of
our main museum. We have had success with these traps in these buildings. We
bait with peanut butter. They are an integral part of our pest management
program in the historic village where we can’t ever exclude rodents from the
building 100% of the time due to the nature of the buildings and their use. I
hope this is helpful.

Roberta

Subject: [pestlist] Electronic rodent traps

Has anyone used the Victor Smart-Kill Electronic mouse traps before?
https://www.victorpest.com/smart-kill-electronic-mouse-trap-m1
They are battered powered and kill mice with a high voltage shock and then send
an alert to an app on your mobile device.
I have purchased two of these traps and am trialling them in our museum loading
dock, I haven’t had any success yet but it is summer here in New Zealand which
might be why.

If anyone has used these electronic/wifi traps before and can offer any
feedback that would be much appreciated!
Thanks,
Georgia
