Yes, one is a 'moth fly' (Psychodidae). The other is consistent with a 'scuttle
fly' (Phoridae). Both kinds develop in wet / moist decaying organic material.
For sources, look first to dry or fouled plumbing drains. Next, look for
decaying food and food wastes. Finally, consider an animal carcass.
