The site seemed innocent to me when I examined it.
Just to be sure I thought I'd put the question out to the group to see
if anyone had any experience with the site.
Thanks for the responses -

Hi,
Rachael and I had some correspondence with its creator not long ago.
It’s a father daughter team who really enjoy learning about insects,
enjoying cockroaches the most of any and creating the website around
them. So it’s very much a hobby-driven page as Michael pointed out,
hence its simplicity. They use MuseumPests as a resource and frequent
it, reaching outto us in hopes of being a part and resource.
I’m not sure why all the requests however, Leon. Maybe the enthusiasm
of the daughter?

Greetings,
It looks to be just a generic personal Wordpress blog, registered
through a low-cost website registrar out of Arizona, with nothing on
it that stands out, just standard Wordpress plugins and Google
Analytics. I looked through one of the articles, and it listed
sources at the bottom. Is the information correct? And is there a
chance that down the road, the information might be swapped out with
something else? That would be the key, since it is a personal blog
not associated with a business or an agency. It seems to be an
outreach/hobby type of website, not something assembled by
entomologists or pest control professionals.
Thank you,
Michael R.

Seems odd there wouldn't be more information at the very bottom of
the page?? There's no sponsor info; just the website ID.

Hello -
I've received a request to add this website as a link -
https://cockroachfacts.com/ on two of my sites. I've looked
at it and
it seems legitimate - doesn't appear to be trying to sell
something or
collect personal information. It is hosted in the U.S. and
looking
through the code I don't see any unusual information gathering.
It is possible it is just what it appears to be. Getting so many
requests like this has made me a bit skeptical.
Does anyone on this list know anything about it?
Thanks,
Leon Zak
