There is no scale, but comparing the size of the moth to the carpet beetle
larva, it is probably too big to be one of the  common pest moths.  But the
larva is trouble enough.  A single adult carpet beetle or moth is cause for
alarm, but it could be an incidental visitor. The presence of a larva in a
trap, however,  means beetles are already established somewhere nearby.
