Hi Katherine,
A carabid ground beetle and part of a spider (I think an agelenid). The small
insects are de-alate termite reproductives, and look like members of the genus
Reticulitermes.

Subject: [PestList] Powderpost beetles?

EXTERNAL SENDER

Good morning, all,

Would someone be able to help me identify these beetles? The second two photos
are close-ups. To my eye, they look like some sort of Powderpost beetle, but I
found no frass in the area near the trap, so I have doubts. Each beetle is 3-4
mm in length.

Many thanks for your expertise and assistance!

Best,

Katherine Fecteau
