Hello All, We have approx.. 60 blunder traps set up around our warehouse/storage facility that we check and replace weekly. We just started the monitoring at the beginning of June. My question is how many is too many when it comes to book lice. Some areas we find 0-2 each week but in another general area we find 5-8 per week. Our RH in the area with the higher numbers is 53%. We’re working on eliminating all cardboard housing for the art and we don’t have any obvious issues with water (dry pipe sprinkler system, no floor drains).
When do we consider the numbers of captured insects high enough to be a problem? And other than dropping the RH a few more degrees, is there any other preventative measures we’re missing?
