Hi Eliza,

Your policy can make some general statements about the situation, but your
procedures can certainly address the specifics. Are you thinking of making a
standard concerning getting wood heat treated for powderpost? Or something
along that line? I have done that in the past.

Subject: [PestList] IPM Policy question

Dear All,
I am wondering if IPM policies/procedures at other institutions include
language that addresses materials that enter institutions for the construction
of exhibitions, or facilities work within an institution (thinking primarily of
wood). If so, I would be grateful for any information you are able to share.

With my thanks,

Warmly, Eliza
