Hi Melanie, at these pictures there is no indication for any woodboring insects, like frass or larvae-excrements. Just many saw dust.

Unfortunately, we haven’t located any boring holes/exit holes. Photographed are samples of an adult and what appears to be larvae or excrement (we are unsure). The railroad car was moved to Sacramento, CA at the beginning of the year and there was no activity at the time. This is a recent development. Please let me know if anyone can help identify.
