Hi Todd - I am assuming that this was a random catch since I have never seen
this happen before and the trap was in the darkest area of the room where she
might have been looking for a dark, quiet place to lay her eggs. However, she
was also in the middle of the trap near the pheromone source, not at the edge
where you might think she would be if she had just stumbled upon it, so who
knows? If anyone has any thoughts on this, I would love to hear them!

Madeline

Subject: Re: [PestList] Photo of Webbing Clothes Moth Eggs

Interesting- thanks for sharing. Great photo quality! It seems like so many
times you hear about pheromone traps "only targeting the males", and
unfortunately not being able to target egg laying females. Do you think this
one was just flying around in the area, and just randomly happened to get
stuck- not attracted by any pheromone scent?

Thanks for this Madeline! We had a WCM scare recently (I think we are going to
be okay) but these photos will help with our monitoring.

Hello all!

Just wanted to share these amazing photos of webbing clothes moth eggs (female
was caught in one of our pheromone traps). I thought you all would appreciate
the images as much as I did!

Best,
Madeline
