Hmm, good point, Gretchen – I had figured that if that were the case it would be obvious looking – as in, they’d be crawling out of the carcass (as I’ve seen in the past) – and the person wouldn’t have forwarded the message to me. Should staff be on the lookout for another dead animal? Am I misidentifying a wood-boring pest? This trap is from an open air wooden structure on Cumberland Island (off the coast of Georgia).
