Not so mysterious. Those are thrips. Their presence simply indicates that you have indoor plants infested with these, or you have open windows or doors (or other gaps). Some thrips will crawl or fly right through window screens. For the most part, they’re not a direct worry to people, the building or the contents within. They do indicate that things are entering. The other creatures that might enter might not be so innocuous.
