Looking at the NYS pesticide database, I see some products from the 80s and 90s
had chlorpyrifos, which also has a short half-life.

As far as the active ingredient for current raid products the half life should
be around a month long. I can not find any information about active ingredients
they were using in the 80's. If you call them tell them who you are and where
you are from and why you want to know they will probably get back to you with
an answer. I have done that with companies before and they have been very
helpful. There will also probably be a petrol base in there as well. JTV

Subject: [PestList] Use of Raid on Bontanical

[CAUTION: This message originated from outside the Foundation. Do not click
links, open attachments or take action unless you know the contents are safe] I
recently found out about the use of Raid on botanical collections in our museum
from the mid-80s. Does anyone or has anyone worked on collection materials
treated with Raid? Do you have any information you can share with conservation
community as this is a health and safety concern?

Thanks,
