[Externe] Insects limited in Indianapolis may have some live ones for sale. I’d call them and ask for Mr. Pat Kelly or check their website. Do not click links, open attachments or take action unless you know the contents are safe] Dear all, I hope this message finds you well. I am currently conducting my Bachelor thesis at the Canadian Museum of History, focusing on the use of acoustic emission techniques for pest detection in wooden objects. So far, we have found very few infested wood samples—great news for the museum, of course, but somewhat limiting for the research. Would any of you happen to know of a way to obtain woodboring insects such as Anobium punctatum or Lyctus spp. in the Quebec or Ontario region? This could include research labs supplying live specimens, institutions currently dealing with infestations, or private individuals who may have infested wooden items. Any lead or contact would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much for your time and assistance.
