Aloha from the Islands,

I have a client who has discovered bed bugs in a highly carved 19th C. four
poster koa wood bed here in Honolulu. It is located in a bedroom in a house
that is presently vacant.

Was wondering if “heat treatment” (55* C - for how long?). I know that Vikane
is often used but sealing off the room would be difficult.

Any recommendations? I don’t think diatomaceous earth would be practical for
this. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Thor Minnick
