Hi Nancy,
That is what it looks like to me. I have a magnified photo of one on the wall 
in my office and the body type seems correct.  Unless you got an entomologist 
to answer differently, I would say it's a typical silverfish.

Hello!  I'm identifying insects found in our space, and I'm having trouble with 
this one.  I suspect it's a silverfish with the bottom part of its "tail" 
missing.  Does that sound right?
