Hello all,

I'm wondering if anyone could help me with something. We've recently been
carrying out some XRF & swab testing on some of our historic natural science
specimens to ascertain whether they are contaminated with arsenical pesticides.
Thankfully most of the objects that we've tested so far have showed either
trace amounts or no detectable quantity of arsenic. Our next step is to provide
hazard advice in our object database, and I was wondering if anyone had done
any work regarding minimum safe exposure for material contaminated with
arsenical pesticides? At the moment we have a blanket statement of use
appropriate PPE and minimise movement/contact, but It would be good if I could
get a better understanding of what constitutes low risk/high risk and how to
manage the objects in terms of handling, storage and display.

Any articles you think might be helpful would be very much appreciated

Many thanks!
