Hi all,
Our museum currently has an active varied carpet beetle infestation. We
are currently undergoing treatment and taking steps to get the problem
under control. We are considering displaying a necklace and bracelet
carved from gutta percha, but do not want to endanger the objects given
our current conditions. Does anyone know if artifacts made of gutta
percha are susceptible to damage from varied carpet beetles?
