We have been reassured that the membrane used for these types of roofs are the best quality, and we shouldn't be concerned about an increase in pests, but we aren't completely convinced. One our biggest concerns is maintenance. We know that there have been a few museums built/retrofitted with green roofs and have been in contact with a couple of them. Any opinions/experience would be greatly appreciated!
