Paul - ABSOLUTELY! This is a common way they end up in bathrooms on upper floors. They also love to travel via elevator shafts. They prefer cool, moist locations, especially buildings with poured concrete walls and floors. I know that they can't jump, but can run quickly. I don't have information on their climbing ability. We were getting recurring infestations in a storage area away from any moisture sources, so my theory was that they were coming up pipe chases from the sub-sub-level utility level below storage. Just a thought. -- Paul S.
