This does look very much like photos of the casemaking clothes moth that I have 
seen, but there are so many similar species that I cannot be sure.

 

Have you seen signs of larval activity, such as their silken cases in wool, 
felt, hair, or fur?

I would appreciate help identifying these moths. They are just under ½" in 
length. I think they may be case-making clothes moths, but am not certain.
