Group - As Lou Sorkin has correctly stated, it is a larva and perhaps another photo of a shed exoskeleton of the Odd Beetle. It is impossible to determine the sex of this larva from a photograph. Yes, it is in the family Dermestidae. The adult male and female look dramatically different from one another. These photos are not of an adult Odd Beetle.
