Thanks for the clarification. I anticipate you've a hole in the wall or floor, a dry floor drain, a non-screened vent or an exterior door that is deserving of some improved weather-stripping. Inspect for such penetrations and rectify them as you can. That will go far in reducing the frequency and abundance of these and other creatures.
