Hi Megan,

Just as a general pointer, I would suggest that you talk to a supplier of
laboratory freezers. When we bought a freezer, the company we dealt with were
quick to understand our requirements and what type of freezers would be most
appropriate. Lab freezers can also have useful attributes like the ability to
insert a temperature sensor to monitor/ record actual temperatures and alarms
that can contact phones/ computers in case temperatures go outside a set range.

Subject: [pestlist] Freezer recommendations

Hello everyone,

We are looking into purchasing a large freezer for our collections management
space. We intend to use it in case of infestation. Does anybody have any
recommendations for a freezer that would be suitable for collections?

Thank you,
