In the last few months we have been having consistent appearances of book lice in our traps in the vaults. Our institution is based in Texas. We understand that they are not harmful to our collection (paper and photographs) as they feed on mold, but their consistent appearances make us uneasy. We do not have areas of moisture, mold, or complete darkness. Has anyone experienced this? Thank you for your input.
