Hello

At the same time when I am typing this,I am also watching my Little lionhead male
Lucky,he is doing the bunny 500,and lots of binky's.
He does eat all his food again and his poops are back to normall.
I am gonna cut back the cisapride and tractonorm now,(very slowly).

What we did to get Lucky better is this:
Me and the vet did syringe feed Supreme Science Recovery, this is a powder that you
have to mix with water. It is very high in fiber and has evrything a bunny needs,It
also got pro biotics,it is very good stuff to syringe feed a bunny who can't or won't
eat.
In the first period of his blockage Lucky did get cisapride, metaclpramide and
tractonorm ne dose three times a day.
Also he had subcutaneously injected fluids (once) and after that I kept giveing
him as much fluids as he did need.
I also made some sort of scheme to give him extra movement, cause this is also
important to stimulate the digestive tract.
Lucky was out of his cage three till four times a day,and one time a day with his
sister Angel,so he also had plenty of exercise.
I did put lots of hay in his cage, and grean leafed veggies with some herbs. And
ofcourse some extra TLC :-)
It did seem to work,Cause Lucky did make a very fast recovery.
Now he is up to his normal tricks again and I love to see him so happy again.
Lucky is beautifull lionhead, with a lovly character,I am very glad that he is better
again.

  Best wishes Hilde
