Andrea-

I can tell you that it gets better on the other side. We started adding pets after we
already had kids (4 thus far), and I have gotten mostly admiring and positive comments
regarding opening our household to more species. We most recently added a baby
cockatiel to our family, adopted in honor of Debi's Mercy :) The other kids in the
neighborhood love coming to see the bunnies, fish and now the bird, and my DH's cousin
visited yesterday with 8 of his 10 kids (yeah, I know, wow) and said how great it was
that we had all the pets in the house. All ya gotta do is have the kids, and your
circle of acquaintances will expand, and you'll probably get a whole different view of
your Zoo :)

Healing wishes for your boo-boos, btw.

Andrea
and Toki and Osker and 3 fish and a bird (still nameless) and, oh yeah, 4 kiddos.
