Yay, Eli! :)

I'm proud of you!!! Isn't it funny, Laura, how proud you can feel when
your bunny does so well at the v-e-t??? They are little troopers!!! :)
Denali did so good at the v-e-t on Saturday...I was bursting my
buttons!!! Plus, sometimes they get to be ambassadors of the bunny
world (Bella has corrected me, I mean RIFRAF) to others! People in the
waiting room, nurses, etc. :)

Yay! <binkies> all around here for Eli's steady recovery and getting to
keep his toofie! :)

Great news. At Eli's molar trim appointment yesterday, Eli's fractured
molar had grown out from beneath the gum-line enough to be cleanly clipped,
leaving a white, healthy, firm in the socket tooth.

Previously, the discovered fractured molar was firm in the socket and
discolored (thought to be food stain).

This was Eli's first known fractured molar. In the past, sometimes between
dental visits, Eli would have a molar become loose and fall out or down his
throat. Dr Jenkins suspects he swallowed them.

So hooray, Eli's very worrisome tooth is safe and healthy. I'm delighted
Eli is able to keep his toofie!

We've been very blessed. Though Eli has ongoing dental, he has never been
found to have an infection. His teeth, crooked though they be have always
been found to be healthy.

Eli's improved tooth alignment is holding steady. He continues to have 2
molars that form spurs, down from 5 in the past.

Good news all around!

Quick re-cap. Eli has been treated for molar spurs since age 2 and will be
8 in Dec. Dr Jenkins believes we will one day achieve perfect alignment and
need no further molar trim appointments.

I'm so proud of Eli. He is doing terrific.

Oh, also, Eli's doctor was most pleased at his weight gain of 3 ounces. Eli
has always been on the light end of the scale and Jenkins has always wanted
to see more weight on Eli.

Though Eli has been good not to loose weight between appointments, he never
gained. Eli has always been lean, and with age keeping his weight up is
more of a challenge as he is a happy little nibbler.

All in all, a great appointment and we are good for another 6-8 weeks. :-)
Thankfully Eli is not loosing anymore molars.
