Have got hold of Putty.
Tried to access my Mepis machine, but all I get is
"Network error - connection refused."
According to Webmin there is no firewall running on Mepis
Webmin tells me that SSH is running - I think:
Under list of running processes it lists:
/usr/bin/ssh-agent /usr/bin/startkde
I can access shares on Mepis via Windows Workgroup, and vice versa
I also cannot access Webmin from the network. https://servername:10000
produces "Error - Access denied for 192.168.1.11"
https://192.168.1.11:10000 produces the pretty Firefox - "Unable to
connect - Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at
192.168.1.11:10000 ......"
I can of course get it locally on the Mepis machine
Any ideas please?
