Sorry - I only check my email once a day

I am puzzled - on my system, browsing just works.

1) My windows domain is PARKLANND

So in the YAST | samba client configuration, Membership = PARKLAND
(or in smb.conf [global] section, workgroup = PARKLAND)
( re updating DNS with DHCP, I do not have dynamic DNS configured on my
network)

2) Have you got the all the samba daemons running?
ie smb & nmb

3) Could you try specifying in the smb.conf file, [global] section,:
name resolve order = lmhosts host wins bcast

4) Have you tried the windows approach - uninstall the Samba server and
client, then reinstall?

Yours

Andrew
