One of the things discussed at the recent meeting was to develop a long term project that PLUG members could get involved in and learn some new skills through involvement in the project.
One thing that was suggested was the development of a school office application based on a re-worked open office base which we could then distribute/introduce to local schools in an attempt to integrate open source tools and applications into the learning environment. There were several suggestions as to how we should tackle the project but it would be nice to get some group input and thoughts. Post any ideas or thoughts up to the list and we can then perhaps discuss things a in a bit more detail at the next meeting. Cheers Stu -- No virus found in this outgoing message.
