Hi Stuart, Unfortunately its not as simple as just providing a Howto on getting this working. I would suggest you try looking at the following sites -
http://www.linux-gamers.net/ http://www.transgaming.com/ I can tell you that on average you should get approx. 15-20FPS extra compared to a Windows system. I've heard allot of good things and bad things about Cedega (which you have to pay for unless you compile from CVS) and allot of good things about Wine.
