Since the quota system obviously keeps track of how much space is used
for each user, I wondered if there was anything lurking in there that
would help, although I know very little about quota management.
(Obviously it doesn't have to recurse through the whole directory
structure every time I check quota usage, I just don't know what is
actually stored.)
