Within the business that I work at, I've just install Nessus on a Debian etch server. Everything went pretty straight forward (even the Windows client connection to the Nessus server went without any problems). However, I have a few questions (if anyone can answer them):
1) Does anyone know how to transfer the results from a scan into a user friendly layout (it can be pdf, html, etc, etc)? 2) Does anyone know how to configure Nessus so that the scan results are going to a dedicated MySQL database? The reason for using this program is that many companies are using to carry out internal penetration testing (a requirement of the PCI DSS compliance - for quarterly scanning). If we can get the results to go to a backend database, then we have the ability to compare the results against previous scans. Any help would be appreciated.
