Sorry, should have explained better.

The work domain is protected by a smoothwall and we use the built in
web proxy (squid) to restrict certain machines from accessing the
Internet. Therefore only certain specified IP addresses in the range
are allowed outbound access. All machines are on static IP addresses.
We also run a DNS server on an internal address.

At home I do use DHCP but it doesn't seem to update the default gateway
nor the DNS addresses. Which I currently have to do manually every time
I change location.

Like I say, not a huge problem, just a bit of an irritant. I was just
curious if the system could be set up to respond to the two different
network setting, either within Suse, or using a third party
application.
