Stuart,

On my Ubuntu / Gnome, I see that under location I put some text that told me 
where the printer was connected, so I suspect that can write anything here!

In case you want to know, under the connection tab I have:

Host - the machine name of the machine the printer is connected to
Network printer is selected
Windows printer (SMB) 

Username and password are blank as I do not need them

You seem to have sorted the driver OK from what you say.
All the other tabs are really fine tuning, and i have never touched them - 
perhaps I should!!
