CUPS has the ability to save files as PDF for you. I'll dig out the
hack for you later on (after work that is) and email it over.

Subject: [Peterboro] PCL to PDF

If I have some PCL files is there any way to convert them to PDFs under
Linux?

Even better would be if I can configure a Linux box as a PCL print
server (ie it will accept print jobs from another device which can only
talk to PCL printers), which it then converts to PDFs.
