Interesting concept: boot the PC straight into an embedded Linux with Firefox and Skype (from boot to "desktop" in seconds), or boot normally into OS.
What makes this all the more interesting is that for the embedded Linux to properly support the hardware (eg the embedded Wireless chipsets on the Asus motherboards mentioned here) then the wireless drivers need to be available, so it puts pressure where it's needed.
I like the idea of just turning the PC on and having access to web to just check something, without having to wait for the PC to boot. Of-course the environment is very limited at the moment but if its proves popular that can only improve with time.
