You should try using:

"Dia Diagram Editor"

Available as a debian package and in yum, currently version 0.96

It supports UML so you shouldn't have too much difficulty as a
cross-over to linux from visio 2003/2005. Just remember to export as UML
and not a visio document and rebuild from there-on.
