I can personally vouch for the T61 - although I'm glad that I wasn't the one paying for it
T61p 2.4Ghz Core2Duo with 4GB RAM and 160GB HDD, Graphics nVidia Quadro FX570M (1920x1200 :¬O) - with Fedora 8 It has the fingerprint reader on it which was very simple to get running I run vmware on this with windows XP (under Linux) and the speed is definitely usable I'll be cutting over to Xen (for some more hardcore virtualisation) sometime in the next couple of weeks so will let you all know if it rocks or not Martin -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Stuart Lonnen Sent: 09 April 2008 10:12 To: Peterborough LUG - No commercial posts Subject: Re: [Peterboro] Linux Laptops > what were the other 3 ?
