Being a newbie to Linux myself I think its a very good idea. I attended
the last meeting with a friend for the first time and although I did
enjoy the night I would have liked some kind of presentation or a talk.
By how the members were talking and discussing I could easily tell they
were well experienced in Linux compared with us. I would have liked to
ask more questions but was a little reticent about possibly being
laughed at for not knowing the answers.

I am happy to host at the school but was wondering if it might be good
to have a part of the meeting that was a little 'meatier' with
presentations, talks, walkthroughs etc by members. We have the
interactive whiteboards that are ideal for large group visuals. Maybe
other members could say yeah or nay to this and maybe throw in some
ideas.. It may also appeal to new/newer members if we could publish
prior to the meetings topics to be covered.

I just had a call from someone interested in coming to the next meeting.
Is it fair to assume it'll be on the last Tuesday, 7:30pm, at Middleton
School?
