same thing happens with Windows as well. Set PC up for customer, works for three days, fails. I have often found it necessary to opt for a lower level of security in the interests of reliability or indeed connection success. Using Hex keys with WEP is also more reliable than alphabetical passphrases as their seems to be variable ways of interpreting the latter.
