Will give Gentoo a go on the G4. Hopefully it will perform quicker than 
Debian and Ubuntu did. For some reason, it did not utilise both CPUs. I 
haven't had much time to fiddle with kernel params etc.

Lack of GUIs are no problem for me. I prefer working in the shell anyway.
