I'm shortly planning to replace my ageing Evesham box with something a bit more up-to-date. Since I fully intend to stick with Ubuntu, I don't want something that comes pre-loaded with Windows.
I do a fair bit of web development, video editing and GIMP graphics, so I need a fairly fast processor and a good graphics card (preferably one that can provide an aerial connection and tuner for Freesat). Disk space will also be important. I will swap an existing (nearly new) 80Gb drive into the new box as a home for a couple of OS's (Ubuntu and Mediabuntu), but will go for a large new disk, probably 1Tb, for data.
