I have given the date of the restart meeting a bit more thought and I reckon the week of the Bank Holiday may not be suitable for many people so I discussed with Tyler at HackSpace the posibility of choosing a weekday evening sometime during the fornight beginning 05Sep22.
He tells me we can choose any evening in this period but any special evening event they organise themselves will generally take place on a Thursday and may clash if we choose Thursday evening for our meetings. In addition, my personal preference would be to avoid Friday evenings because for me that is the start of the weekend! Tyler tells me the quietest evening at the facility is generally on Tuesday. Therefore my first preference for a meeting is the first Tuesday (06Aug22) and my second preference the second Tuesday (13Aug22) of the fortnight. I can make all the other dates. In order to decide the best date could everyone on the mailing list wishing to attend please respond with: 1. First preference date. 2. Second preference date. 3. Any evening of the week they would prefer to avoid. 4. Any weekday evenings during the fortnight beginning 05Sep22 that you absolutely cannot make. Using this information it should be possible to choose the earliest best date. I hope this all makes sense and is acceptable. A quick response would be appreciated by Tyler and also ensure we book a date whilst it is still available. Remember there will be 3GBP entry charge to cover services etc. I am thinking of becoming a member of HackSpace, in which case I will be able to facilitate access to the premises. I any event I am happy to liaisse with Tyler and become H&S trained and be "Doorman" for this meeting. Tyler said that he could advertise the meeting to his members so there could well be additional new attendees. I trust everyone is cool with this.
