Dear Petri-Netters, CALL FOR PAPERS FOR SpringSim'10 POSTER SESSIONS
April 11 - 15, 2010 Florida Hotel and Conference Center; Orlando, FL, USA http://www.scs.org/confernc/springsim/springsim10/springsim10.htm We are seeking outstanding short paper (4 pages) submissions that will be presented in a poster format at the conference. Short papers should present interesting recent results or novel ideas that are not quite ready for a regular full-length paper. Student papers are welcome. In particular we are seeking papers in the following areas: Communications Networks with Special Emphasis on Modeling and Simulation Numerical Simulation and Optimization as Applied to Business and Industry Use of modeling and simulation in the area of computer security Any Aspect of Modeling and Simulation related to the Military Modeling, Analysis and Simulation of Telecommunication Systems Web-based Modeling and Simulation High-performance Computing and Simulation Network Traffic Modeling and Workload Characterization Simulation Languages, Tools, and Environments Simulation of Parallel Systems, Distributed Systems and Databases Simulation of Clusters, Grids and Wireless System Simulation of Multimedia Applications and Systems Modeling and Simulation of Real-Time and Embedded Systems Simulation Methodology, Theory and Philosophy IMPORTANT DATES Short Paper due 28 Nov 2009 Notification 19 Dec 2009 Camera-ready Paper due 27 Feb 2010 SUBMISSION GUIDELINES Prepare a 4-page paper using the Paper Formatting Guidelines for the conference. All final paper submissions are to be made electronically to SCS via the SCS Conference Proceedings Management System. Include complete postal and e-mail addresses, and fax and phone numbers of corresponding author. Papers must be in English. For further instructions, please refer to the Submission Instructions in the SCS Conference Proceedings Management System web site. Submissions will be peer-reviewed to ensure quality. Accepted short papers will be presented in the poster session as well as the poster proceedings.
